  • The Humble Pie Store

    The Humble Pie Store

The Humble Pie Store was born out of the idea that a tasty pie could transport you back to a simpler time — a time when friends would gather for good coffee, conversation and a slice of the freshest harvest, baked in a crispy crust.

When the ladies of The Humble Pie Store came to us to help create their brand identity for the shop, we heard lots of words like: warm, welcoming, quality and old-fashioned – all wonderful things to have in a pie shop. And then we dug a little deeper to figure out what makes this pie shop unique and heard words like cheeky, not taking ourselves too seriously, fun.

Loaded with these great descriptors, and a belly full of pie samples, we worked with The Humble Pie Store to come up with a logo, website and a lot of business collateral and advertising.

  • Portland Piano International Festival

    Portland Piano International Festival

Portland Piano International had a very good idea of how they wanted the identity for their annual summer festival to feel (summery and fun), and they also wanted it to reflect the surrounding nature of the venue (The World Forestry Center).

They were very please with the illustration we put together for the event poster, brochure and even tote bags!

  • Repeat Factory

    Repeat Factory

Repeat Factory is a clever idea for textile designers created by Michelle Fifis of Pattern Observer. Designers can upload their motif to the website, outline their specifications for repeating the pattern and Repeat Factory will deliver the the finished pattern. They came to Potassium Design in search of a colorful logo, collateral and a brochure/poster that explains the process and gives good tips for repeating a pattern.

  • The Wooden Table

    The Wooden Table

When The Wooden Table restaurant first opened, they wanted their restaurant’s identity to feel sophisticated, welcoming and as cozy as the wooden tables on which their authentic Italian dishes are served. Potassium Design made their name central to their branding, using a table woodgrain for all of their collateral elements, from their logo, to the menus and website.

  • COLT logo

    COLT logo

The Coalition of Oregon Land Trusts was ready for a completely new logo and identity when they came to Potassium Design.

Working with board members from several different land trusts within the coalition, the challenge was to create a logo that captures the essence of the many diverse landscapes in the state, so that each land trust was represented.

When fleshing out the rest of the brand identity through collateral pieces, it was obvious that our greatest resource was all of the amazing imagery captured by the land trusts of their beautiful views. In fact, we chose not limit ourselves and instead used several images for the backs of the business cards. All together, the identity creates a collage of the beautiful Oregon scenery.

  • Nail Distribution

    Nail Distribution

Nail, an independent music distributor, needed a new logo and identity applied across all elements of the division.
